Jura Origin

Isle_of_Jura_10_YO

Another well established single malt and once again one of the drams at the Beginners Guide to Whisky Masterclass at Whisky Birmingham 2015 run by The Birmingham Whisky Club.

Please take into account that these are my personal tasting notes and personal experience. as such you may interpret this whisky very differently from me.

Colour:

Deep copper.

Nose:

Fruity with a citrus twang. White wine.

Palate:

Creamy and thick with toffee and apple coming through strongly.

Finish:

Long lasting, creamy and mouth coating.

Overall:

A good staple single malt. Not as impressive as some of the other Jura line but again a good starting point and always nice to have a bottle of on your shelf.

Notes:

Consistently in the top 3 best selling whiskies in the U.K.
