Please take into account that these are my personal tasting notes and personal experience. as such you may interpret this whisky very differently from me.
Colour:
Gold.
Nose:
Sweet, white wine? Sherry? Cereal, raisins.
Palate:
Slightly bitter to start moving to sweet, creamy, vanilla? custard, followed by a hint of smoke, spice and cinnamon?
Finish:
Long and creamy with a slightly antiseptic quality at the very end.
Overall:
Something special for a low low price. From the bottle to the finish I enjoyed every aspect of this dram.
Classic Rock Match:
Following a post by @the_whisky_lady entitled ON THE ROCKS: Match Your Whisky With Rock Classics I’m going to try and match my tastings with a classic rock song.
For this dram I’m going with Lynyrd Skynyrd – Free Bird.
